Cowboys and cowgirls, saddle up for Middle Georgia’s 4th Annual Easterseals Pro Rodeo Friday, November 5th and Saturday, November 6th at Southern Pines Equestrian Center! Gates open at 5 PM with the events kicking off at 7 PM!

"Heartbound Ministries: Art from the Inside” exhibits the significant, often overlooked talent of artists who are currently imprisoned. Approximately 60 works of art are on view, representing a wide range of artistic styles and mediums, including sculptures and displays crafted from objects found around the prison. The sale of these works benefits Heartbound’s Little Readers Book Club, which allows children of incarcerated parents to see and hear their parent reading to them via DVD. “Art from the Inside” is the only annual exhibition of art by prisoners in the state of Georgia.

Farm Animal Fun Day

10:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. Over the years, Hardman Farm has been the home to several species of livestock. Come visit and pet some furry friends here on the Farm as we continue our journey to "bring the farm to life" and keep the American agricultural experience alive. Pricing: Animal encounters are included with site admission. Your site admission also includes a tour of the Mansion and Farm.

3rd annual Southern Crescent Sexual Assault and Child Advocacy Center Superhero 5K to raise funds for the nonprofit that provides services to child-abuse and sexual-assault victims and their families and also assists with criminal investigations and provides educational training to youth and the community. $25 Online registration until 10/25. $30 On-site registration at 9 a.m. Race Start Time: 10 a.m.

Taste & Brews Country Fest

Taste & Brews Country Fest brings the tastes, flavors and cultures of the South and Georgia together in one amazing two-day celebration at the beautiful Etowah River Park. In addition to the many opportunities to taste, sample, buy and enjoy all the flavors of Georgia, guests will also be treated to live music with Nashville acts like Matt Stillwell, Fairview Union, Matt Rogers and, of course, some Georgia acts. Fall 2021 Gardening Lecture Series

North Fulton Master Gardeners, Inc., continues to provide horticultural education to the North Fulton community and beyond through FREE virtual gardening education programming. This series of seven classes begins Wednesday, Sept. 1, and will be available through live Zoom webinars and Facebook Live. Worship and Wisdom Concert Series

As one of the newest self guided tours in Forsyth, this African American Heritage Guide takes you through a journey of African American history throughout Monroe County. This self-guided tour is meant to be a starting point in exploring the journey of African Americans in our community. It contains some brief biographical information on those who shaped our history; a timeline critical to putting events into context; and a brief driving tour to link people and places. Veterans Appreciation Day

10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. In honor of Veterans Day, Hardman Farm will be inviting all veterans and their spouses to enjoy free admission to Hardman Farm on Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our last hourly guided tour of the Mansion will begin at 3:00 p.m. Hardman Farm Staff would like to thank you for your service!
